Excursions are must, especially for students. They have a great educational value. Apart from educating students and exposing them to various experiences, it is a great time of recreation. It is the day all students wait for eagerly. At Zion, we don’t make our students wait. Following the visits from senior students to the Indian space observatory, Kodaikanal for the launch of Chandrayaan, it was time for the students of class 9 to make a visit to the amazing place of probe into space.
The students had a wonderful time as they learned about the history of the observatory and the importance of space research. They also came to know the advancements India has in this field and India’s contribution to international space program. All in all it was day of entertainment, excitement and education.
